Although the valves can certainly be used on their own, they work best when paired with the Cip-Kup™, Sip-Tip®, or Bear Bottle. This combination allows the parent/caregiver/therapist to assist the drinking process. Simply squeeze the bottle of the Cip-Kup™ or Bear (or press the lid of the Sip-Tip®) until fluid reaches the desired height. Fluid will then stay at that height, thereby decreasing the effort required to drink.
